Roberto is a Tucson native and is fluent in Spanish as his second language.  At Pueblo High School, Roberto acclimated to the culture of South Tucson. Modeling after his heritage, Roberto worked from an early age and married young. He fathered 2 children before the age of 21 years old. It was later in life that Roberto found meaning in higher education. After fathering his 3rd child in 2001, Roberto earned a post graduate degree from the University of Phoenix, Southern Arizona (2016). As a Psychotherapist, Roberto is an integral part of a dedicated team of clinical professionals helping Veterans and First Responders through the Red, White, and Blue program of Sierra Tucson.  He has a passion for helping first responders and is excited to join the Hearts of Gold team.
