Tom Vetrano ~ Chair
Tom is the owner and founder of Vetrano Financial Services where he has served the Tucson Community for the past 32 years. Tom is also the preferred provider and member educator for financial wellness and retirement planning for the Tucson Police Officer's Association. Tom is originally from Queens, New York. He spent his early childhood years living on Long Island, until his family relocated to Tucson. Tom is involved in his community, participating as a past president of the Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce and former Member of the Board of Directors of the 100 Club of Arizona. He now serves on the 9/11 Tower Challenge Committee. He has volunteered in the past with Junior Achievement and is currently on the Town of Oro Valley’s Municipal Property Corporation. Tom and his wife Michelle, have two sons, Nicolas and Joseph. Their family enjoys sports, traveling and entertaining family and friends.

Amy Devins ~ Vice-Chair
Amy leads the First Responder Services team within the Crisis Services and Justices Services Division of Arizona Complete Health –Complete Care Plan, the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) in eight Southern Arizona counties. In this role, Amy and her staff are responsible for developing partnerships with first responder agencies to increase first responder confidence in, and usage of, crisis system alternatives to detention and emergency departments. With 15 years of experience as a detective and patrol officer in Colorado and Wyoming, Amy understands the need for robust crisis services ready to serve their communities. She is a proud University of Iowa alumna and a passionate advocate of emergency services peer support programs, Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and Crisis Intervention Teams (CIT).

Rachel Cramton ~ Secretary
Rachel Cramton, M.D. relocated to Tucson in 2009, after completing her medical training in Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Dr. Cramton is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Arizona and works at Banner University Medical Center Tucson- Diamond Children's, where is she an Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program. In her clinical practice, Dr. Cramton is a Pediatric Hospitalist and Palliative Care physician, and is part of the Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect Team. She is also a Medical Advisor for Make-A-Wish Arizona. Dr. Cramton also serves on multiple committees for the local non-profit organization, Integrative Touch for Kids. Dr. Cramton lives in Tucson with her husband of 20 years, James, and their two sons Zachary and Alexander.

John Lebbs ~ Treasurer
John is the founder of John Lebbs CPA, PLLC, an accounting firm located in Oro Valley specializing in advising small businesses and individuals with their tax and accounting needs. John has a passion for coaching and educating his clients. A Tucson native, John attended the University of Arizona where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In addition to being the Treasurer for Hearts of Gold, John is also the Treasurer for the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce Foundation, an organization dedicated to raising money for scholarships and community improvements. John and his wife Tamra have two sons, Jacob (Michelle) and Adam. They enjoy spending time with their family, traveling, and attending Wildcat basketball games.

Jessica Ganz ~ Director
Jessica is a Family Nurse Practitioner and local Tucson small business owner. She has been serving the Tucson community since she relocated here in 2005. In 2018, she opened Ohana Direct Primary Care. Ohana provides affordable and convenient medical care to individuals, families, and small businesses. Ohana recently started to partner with a local Fire Department to help bring occupational and primary care services to our first responder community.
Jessica has volunteered with the American Red Cross, The YMCA, The Boys and Girls Club, Bens Bells, Stanford Lucille Packard Pediatric Center, and The Rota Care Migrate Workers Association. Jessica also served as adjunct faculty at Pima Community College for several years teaching our young to become nurses.
Jessica is a proud mom to 5 kids and wife to a local firefighter in Corona De Tucson. Jessica is excited to join the Hearts of Gold Board and continue her passion for giving back to the community of first responders.

Natasha Herzig ~ Director
Natasha is known for her advocacy work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of sex trafficking. She speaks throughout the country to law enforcement agencies and universities to bring awareness to the epidemic that the United States is facing. Natasha has testified on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., lobbying U.S. Senators to help pass the Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking Deterrence and Victims Support act. She began her career as a SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) advocate for a local police department and is currently a consultant with federal and local agencies aiding in the rescue and recovery of victims through special operations. In addition to her advocacy work, Natasha is a small business owner. Natasha holds a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice from NAU and served on the Board of Directors for the Vail Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband keep busy with their 11 year old daughter, and in her spare time, Natasha volunteers at her daughter's school.

Haley Horton ~ Director
Haley has worked in the field of child welfare and behavioral health for the last 20 years. She is currently the Regional Operations Director for the Southern Arizona region for Community Medical Services. In this role, Haley has worked to expand opioid treatment throughout Southern Arizona by opening clinics in rural areas and working with Law Enforcement to create programs to deflect individuals into opioid treatment instead of jail.
Haley worked for the Arizona Department of Child Safety, the local Regional Behavioral Health Authority, and within the Tucson crisis system before her husband became addicted to opioids. Through this experience, Haley has come to more deeply appreciate and understand the consequences of addiction for individuals and their families, which led her to become part of the CMS team in 2017.

MaRico Tippett ~ Director
A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, MaRico Tippett served 21 years in the Air Force as an EC-130 pilot and MQ-1 Pilot, including a tour in Iraq and two in Afghanistan, before retiring from Arizona Air National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel. In 2011, MaRico received his Master of Science in Financial Services and began his second career as a financial advisor. In 2012 MaRico began working with individuals, families, and small businesses and now owns Community Wealth Builders, a Registered Investment Advisory Firm. He also has his own Tech Firm, CTECH Force Support, LLC.
MaRico enjoys spending time with his wife, Callie, and their three children, and they are actively involved in the greater Tucson community. MaRico is on several nonprofit Boards to include: The Association Board of the YMCA of Southern Arizona, The Southern Arizona Chapter of American Red Cross, and Greater Vail Community Resources. MaRico is looking forward to serving the Tucson Police Department community on the Hearts of Gold Board.

Executive Director

Jamie Brady ~ Executive Director
Jamie retired as a Lieutenant with the Tucson Police Department in October, 2019 after 20 years of service. During her career she held a variety of assignments and served on the Boards of Directors of the Tucson Girls Chorus, Tucson Police Commander's Association, and 88-Crime. Jamie also volunteered her time from 2011-2015 planning and fundraising for the Tucson Police Officers Charitable Association annual Police Ball. Jamie was instrumental in the development of the Hearts of Gold Foundation and is excited to begin her next chapter assisting the Department members whom she worked alongside for so many years.
TPD Liaison

Sergeant Cindy Mechtel ~ TPD Liaison
Sergeant Mechtel began her career with the Tucson Police Department in 2000 as a Crime Scene Specialist becoming a commissioned member in 2004. During her tenure, Sergeant Mechtel has held assignments in patrol, investigations and is currently assigned to the Office of Professional Standards. Cindy has volunteered with Hearts of Gold since 2009 serving on various committees during that time and is passionate about helping her fellow Department members. Sergeant Mechtel has an AAS in Law Enforcement and is currently attending GCU, working towards a BS in Psychology. She is married with a son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. Cindy is excited to take over as the TPD Liaison and is available to Department members for questions or concerns.
